  • It's a wonder how time flies so fast. Like I'd never expect myself to be assigned in the clinical area and doing "nurse" stuff, and yet, here I am, dreading my NCM 102 grade and awaiting to be "left alone" in summer class. Yes, it has been that long. Sometimes, when I try to remember the things we usually did in our Chemistry or Liberal Arts subjects in first year college, I can't remember exact details already. But maybe that's just 'cause I'm usually a forgetful person. lol. But, this blog isn't about me. Well, not really.

When I entered college, I was a little skeptical of going to the same school as my big brother. I mean, sure my "dream school" really is Velez College (I sound so nerdy, haha), but I dunno. My brother and I haven't been to the same school since I was in grade 2. And, all of a sudden, we'd be going to the same college under the same course. Obviously there was a tinge of pressure in me. I remember I used to have questions in my head like, "Would I do better than him?...

    Whew!

After spending Holy Week in Manila, I'm finally back in Cebu... and dreading the start of our summer classes. huhu! It's been one fun fun fun week, but obviously it's still not enough. Can we NOT have summer classes? Please? ...Pfft. Fine, it is needed for my future (char).

Anyhoo. I only have a few pictures of my vaca, so I dunno if I'll be posting them up... 'Sides, I don't think I'll have enough time to upload them, so... yeah. lol.

Can't wait for the next sem break! hahaha :p

P.S. Wish us luck in our duty!

just so you know, this is NOT my capping ceremony. HAHA :p i'm just a singer... June 9, 2009: the 3rd and 2nd years had their capping and badging ceremonies, a first for Velez College to have two batches be capped and badged at the same time. The 3rd years had their ceremony in the morning, while the 2nd years in the afternoon. So, it meant one whole day of singing for the White Caps! haha xD super tiring, but it was fun. Especially the charades at night! hahaha Congratulations to our Juniors and Sophomores! and good luck to the Seniors who will be handling two students, hahaha :D (nahutdan ku batt pag PM. boo.)

Just another one of those de-stressing and hang out moments we have.. And now we really lived up to the name of our activity... Meaning, we slept most of the time! haha! :D it was fun... sleeping. hahaha xD a "pang-last" thing before going back to our busy schedules what with school opening and such!

New friends made, new experiences encountered, new lessons learned... It was truly and amazing experience. So unexpected yet memorable.Thank you everyone! :) [for the sake of having something to post on my account after 48 years of ignoring it.

Wow, it has been WAY too long since I last visited my account. I'm sorry. I am now more active in my other accounts. And when I blog I usually post it in my Tumblr account, so yeah.
    Anyway.
I'm contemplating on deleting this account. IKR? It's a very hard decision for me, because to be honest, I've kinda worked hard in this account. You know, blogging and posting pictures and stuff. It's too nostalgic for me to let go. But, then again, maybe I should just let go. I mean, not that any of my posts here are affecting me emotionally or whatnot at the moment, but still. Maybe, in a general sense, I should just... IDK. See? I'm really confused. And then if I don't delete this, well, I can barely log in, much less post anything. The "new" homepage layout is kind of giving me a headache, so that's partly why I don't log in that often anymore. SIGH. I really don't know anymore. Oh well. I'll just log in as much as I can from now on.
I am back. Barely, yes, but still.
PS. It's almost my birthday! O...

I don't care if I'm 32 days early. I am excited. And this brings back memories. Ah, nostalgia, you got me again.

Gonna try something. If it doesn't work, I will delete this. If it does, well, I won't. LOL

Edit: OMG it's WORKING! Hahahaha :D Now posting here won't be so boring.. I think. Well, for the blog part, at least. :D

So, I've noticed that my last blog entry (aside from the 2 latest entries) was more than a year ago. O.O And, obviously, SO much has happened! So let me just give you a rundown on how my life went the one year I was inactive in Multiply (LOL). You ready?

I think I'll just get right to it - I'm a nursing graduate. No, even better, I'm a registered nurse! YES! :D I passed my senior year subjects, graduated, was pinned, took the board exams, passed the board exams, and finally took the oath. WHEW. It really is overwhelming. :) But before that, I had a very, well, great senior year. In our first semester, I was assigned to all special areas for the seniors. Yep, first area was Psychia, then Headnursing, then Paknaan. Whew. Then after being away from regular duty, for my first area in second semester I get thrown to PPS2nd. LOL xD But it was all good. I really had fun. I guess one of my proudest moments (even though I wasn't that proud at the time) was when I aced our Emergency Nursing pr...

This show is about a forensic anthropologist and an FBI agent pairing up to solve murders. Dr. Temperance Brennan is the best in her field, but she still needs to learn a thing or two in handling actual live people. Special Agent Seeley Booth, on the other hand, is very good at reading people, so now he needs Brennan's help with the lab work. Together, with the squinterns and prosecutors helping, they always catch the bad guys. I give this show a 4 1/2 out of 5. Their storylines are great, and the subplots are awesome, too. And they've got this, like, dry humor thing that really works for them. Oh, and the cast, most especially Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz (who play Brennan and Booth, respectively), are such great actors. Very believe-able. Though some episodes are better to be watched only once, all in all it's one of the best shows I've watched so far. It's got drama, comedy, romance, suspense, action, and educational stuff all rolled into

Whew, I haven’t blogged in a long time… Well, sort of. Anyway. Here’s how I spent the last two weeks of my 2010.

    December 21, 2010 (Tuesday):

My brother was admitted in the hospital. LOL What a great way to welcome Christmas, eh? xD Anyway, I was assigned to take care of him during the night, so I slept at the hospital. But before that, I went caroling with my college choir! We sang at 3 houses, I mean, 2 houses and one royal mansion. Haha, no, I’m kidding. But it was a once-in-a-blue-moon moment that we could never let pass ever!

Anyway, after caroling (and photo ops, and eating), we went to Song Hits, a karaoke bar thing, where we sang some more. Haha xD

Guess what we were singing at the time of the picture, LOL xD anyway, we went home at almost midnight.

    December 22, 2010 (Wednesday):

I stayed at the hospital the whole day. My brother had a series of different visitors; namely his co-workers, our mom and brother, our aunt and uncle, our extended family, and two choir-mates. The choir-mate...
